NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge, the premier event in the LBS industry, invites developers to build and submit original, pre-commercialized applications using dynamic positioning technology and NAVTEQ® maps.

Winners will share a global prize pool valued at over $5.25 million dollars in cash, tool and data licenses, and handsets, making it the largest in its six-year history. Winners also receive the coveted industry exposure they seek in order to launch their applications. Over 30% of semifinalist companies have gone on to receive venture capital funding and/or launched commercially-distributed applications.
